Ash! I am so glad you are on the other side of this now. Early in my addiction, I looked down on homeless addicts because I was "never like them", until I got worse and worse, I could see myself in that situation. Not sure how I escaped it but I did. Now, I have profound empathy for anyone I see on the streets. If I go back out, that'll be me for sure. Thank you for sharing your raw, vulnerable story.
