Awww, Dani this made me so emotional!!! I know that I don't know you in person but I sure do like you and that makes me want to protect you!! My mom had all that stuff happen to her, too, so I guess that is why she physically and verbally abused us, but the buck stops there. I am not about to do that to my kids so I would often get so mad at her later in life for using that as an excuse. I know it's normal to have all these reactions when you have a tough childhood but you can also choose to stay stuck in that negativity. Sadly, I know you've read from me, I just couldn't handle it anymore. When she turned nasty and mean, I'd had enough. No more excuses for that behavior, ya know?

It's so sad for your kids, too. She is really missing out!! And, how sad to live that way, I think. To be stuck in negativity, depression, low self-esteem, etc. when you could get help and change meanwhile having a happy rest of your life!!
