Definitely. This makes me feel so bad for the girl. And, for you, too for having to go through all of that to get the charges dropped for your 14 year old daughter that was just doing something to gain the friendship of others... they are TOO young to fully grasp what they are doing at that age!! And, throw their own mental challenges on top of it. Shame on that reporter, definitely.
