Trash is bad for my health. The unsavoriness of violence, the divisiveness of politics, the exploitation of human suffering, the callousness of greed, all create stress in my life.

Definitely! Well-said! We don't have cable TV anymore which means no news stations. I could watch on my laptop but I don't anymore. 2020 made me a bit crazy and much better off now!
