Having worked in this field, it is a hard choice. I think that is why a lot of families would bring their loved ones to the care facility I worked at. They could have respite during the day. You simply cannot watch your family member 24/7, if they need it. Help is needed although people can be so stubborn. My grandma never went into care and ended up falling several times while alone in her home. I hope that your mom likes the facility and can convince your dad!
