How about all of the life coaches that are out there with no training? There are so many in the sober world, too. I have an expertise of failing at life but I am in no means trained to help someone else but I can share what I've been through. That is my extent of it. I wouldn't sign up to be a life coach.

Is that Medium writer even a real person? I always wonder about those kinds of writers that tell everyone what they should be doing and especially if they write about such different topics.
