How is doing what you want with your life offensive to others? She's offended that you don't want kids? You'd rather live the way you do with money to treat yourself? How is that offensive? Some people boggle my mind!

Sorry, mini rant there. It doesn't not change my opinion of anyone for their choices of children or who they love. And, it wouldn't offend me!! Nothing to take offense anyway from that because it has nothing to do with me.
