I am trying to imagine how miserable she must feel inside. How can you have no joy for someone else? I guess people like this are always and only thinking about themselves. Thankfully, your daughter doesn't have to see you in this light. Both of your kids will remember the excitement you've shown them over things in their lives that are important to them. And, it is genuine! I've always wondered what it would feel like to have a supportive, loving mom. I'll never know though. And, it's ok but you are right, it does sting sometimes.
