I couldn't agree more. We have some family members that will not get on board with the gift exchange idea of ONE present. Ugh. Just because we have done something in the past doesn't mean we have to do it again, year after year. It's so exhausting to figure out gifts for everyone that doesn't need anything anyway. If we want something, we go get it ourselves. The only people I want to buy gifts for are my 2 kids, the rest is a chore.
