I cut out dairy years ago because of stomach issues (IBS, Colitis, Diverticulitis) and instantly felt better. I hardly had issues after that and they were completely gone after I cut out the alcohol.
Anyway, around that time I decided to stop eating meat, too. It wasn't making me feel good, I love animals, and I've read too many things and have seen too many damaging documentaries to go back to it.
Although, there have been times in those years where I've had chicken on vacation and it tastes so gross to me now. I instantly picture the animal and just thinking that I am eating their flesh makes me sick to my stomach.
Anyway, I love all the research that you have done. Baby steps is always a good way to go.
