I just want to congratulate you on your writing success and you seem like the calm one in the relationship, from what I gather. Good luck in year 2! I just started this career change in January and so far mine is on board but I don't know for how long, because I'm kinda all over the place! I've started here but I don't know where else to move up, if that makes sense. :)
