I love this photo. What a cool tradition. Such a beautiful place, too. Sorry about all the snafus but it was definitely worth it.

After a trip to Italy where I overpacked in a giant suitcase, I will never pack like that again when traveling. Carry on all the way. I've made it two weeks in a carry on, I don't know what I was thinking about lugging my bags around like that. We had a place with all of those stairs, too. So pretty but pretty awful to walk up and down daily.
