I resonate with this but my scars can definitely all be hidden. In my armpits, sides, and under my boobs but still, when I see them I am reminded. We just have to live with it - like you said, it's a blip but then you see someone looking at it and are reminded. Glad you started this pub. I'll have to write about mine again.
