I think this is just what was needed this year. A friend of my daughters passed this year. It would have been her 16th birthday last week and they gathered at the beach to celebrate her. I've been aching for her parents recently as they go through their first holiday alone, it was their only child.

I know that it doesn't get any easier and you should be able to feel on the holidays. She should always hold space. Big hugs to you and your family. <3
