I wish I lived closer so that I could help. But, I am here if you need anything from afar. Just know that I had the same diagnosis and all is well. But, when you are in the thick of it, it is so awful. Let yourself feel all the feelings. It is not fair. Maybe the bright side of things is that this will strengthen the relationship between you and your kids. You will definitely still be able to help with the college essay! This is crazy but I moved houses right after my first surgery and was trying to move boxes but got in trouble for not taking it easy. Sending hugs and reach out to me anytime. <3
