It was a blessing in disguise when I look at it later. Last night I was talking to my daughter and she was telling me that she maybe would want to adopt a child when she got older. I said that adoption has its own set of challenges and the child may wonder why their birth parents didn’t want them. And, it made me realize how I felt about my mom not wanting me.
