It would be cool if Pop ever wanted to sit down and have a heart to heart about it. I am glad he quit but sometimes you do so much damage over the years that it is hard to move forward in a relationship. I am not sure I would have one with my mom if she ever got sober. Thanks for illustrating the sheer pain that alcoholism that manifests in the family and also the compassionate side of looking at someone with substance abuse issues.
