It's not like these "non-Tesla" cars have even been out that long, how could they NOT tell you that you were getting an EV? That is just so wrong. You have to plan for that shit. My husband and I both have EVs but its a learning curve to use them if you are going somewhere far. Most of the time we don't leave the area and charge in our garage so it's easy peasy but I have taken mine to my parents in AZ and it does take some planning or you are out way more hours, making a trip a total pain in the ass. You have to find the fast chargers and plan the trip but you had no idea what you even got yourself into! How the hell would you know it's under the license plate? I wouldn't. Mine has a normal gas pump looking charger.
