It's really weird when people do this! It has happened to me. I am thinking maybe they were just bored in the moment and wanting to see what is up??

My best friend from college who was the maid of honor in my wedding has done this. We stopped seeing much of each other after she got married and I already had little kids. I reach out every so often and so does she but it's always the same. I want to meet for lunch and she always has an excuse - kids, school, work, etc but then I see her on lots of vacations! Oh well... I probably had the deepest connection with her than any other friend but I doubt that will ever come back.
