It's so hard to step away from our kids and let them figure things out on their own. In this case, she needed you and will always remember how you supported her through all of it. Bad awful people will always exist and I will never understand why the need to hurt people but that is life, sadly! Some years are just shit and we let them go. 2024 is going to be a good one for the Wheelock's, hell it better be!
