Memories are interesting and when writing you definitely have to fill in some of the blanks. But, I don't think things like abuse are often as made up as some might believe. Sounds like a lot of good books that I would like. I just read I'm Glad my Mom Died recently. So sad for her childhood. But, there are so many details that she includes that unless she has a diary of it all, I doubt would remember.
