My daughter loves HP and was so excited for these little pit stops, while I have never read or seen much of the movies (caught clips here and there when she would be watching) so maybe that train was more exciting for me because to me, it was just a cool train. I can see how it would be anticlimactic though. It reminds me of reading a book and then watching the movie in the theatre... it never measures up.

Did you make it to York? I think that was the best part of our trip and the Harry Potterish little town.
