My heart goes out to you, Michelle. There is nothing you can do to save him. If you give him money, it's just going to keep allowing him to destroy himself. He is on his way to suicide already just by using the drugs. My mom and step-dad were the exact EXACT same way. Sadly, my step-dad passed away last year due to his alcoholism and drug addiction at 70 years old. They both have never had money, for as long as I can remember. When I was a child of 16 years old, they used to call me begging for money. My mom pulls the same shit with me now complaining and asking for money and I'm 44. It's gone on too long and it's all my fault, so I finally just cut her off. Sorry, this is so long but I completely relate. It's such a hard spot to be in because you want to save them, but sadly you won't. My mom will never change and will probably die the same sad alcoholic death that my step-father did. Keep us updated and hope it gets more peaceful for you.
