My teenage daughters (15 and 18) told me recently that they don't want to get married. Although, I think it's young to be making these statements, I've listened to their points of view, similar to yours. They don't have to follow the norm, and do what everyone else does. Go to college, start your career, get married, have kids. Seeing their perspective makes me open my eyes. It's your life, do what you want with it. People should just keep their opinions to themselves ;)
