Obviously I know what it's like from the addicts perspective. The addict won't get sober unless the addict wants to get sober. Sometimes they may stop to appease their loved one but if they don't want it, they won't stay sober. I am now on the other side, like you, and it's hard. I am not angry though because I get it. My best friend is in detox right now and my heart is breaking in pieces becasue I can relate. His wife thinks he is being selfish and I know it's because he is broken. Your body ends up needing it and it''s hard to find a way out. Other people take it as an attack against them, even though it is not that way. No doubt it affects all people around the addict though and anger is a natural reaction. Hope your loved one chooses life!
