Performing in the Streets of London
A cool summer night full of light
After a 10-hour flight and barely any sleep, we arrived in London red-eyed yet excited to be in a bustling new city.
I believe the perfect way to acclimate to a new time zone is to throw away any relation to your previous time zone. I am no longer thinking about what time it is at home. Since we didn’t sleep more than two hours, we were all pretty tired but the buzz of travel kept us up.
We landed at 2 pm London time, arrived at our flat at 3:30 pm, and were showered and out the door to explore by 5.
Although I wanted to nap, I decided it would be best to rally and stay awake until after dinner.
We are staying close to Soho and Covent Garden in the heart of London. It seems like the perfect location for us newcomers because we are able to walk to many different restaurants and attractions.
Since Covent Garden was only a 10-minute walk, we decided to head that way to find a place for dinner even though we just had breakfast on the plane.
