A fox on the hunt for food — like me on the hunt for inspiration by Author

First of all, let me say that I am floored by the amount of talent on this platform. My eyes are graced with beautiful words, photography, and art on the daily.

I’ve been averaging reading about 30 stories a day, sometimes more. I didn’t start keeping track until midway through the month but I’ll go out on a limb and say that I probably read 1000 stories in April.

Am I addicted? Maybe. But hey, at least I’m using my brain. And, I’ve become a little attached to some of your writing styles.

I feel a deep sense of connection to so many of you. Thanks for brightening my days, making me laugh, and cry!

I wish I could name every good story that I read but here are a few that caught my eye in April.

I actually forgot to save a lot of the good ones so I was trying to go off my memory! I’m definitely making more notes for May!

Patty McMahon, M.Ed talks about how she stayed sober through vacations and I know that it’s a struggle for many. With summer coming up, please check out her tips for enjoying your vacation sans booze!
