Taylor Swift Made Me a Football Fan

Every time the Super Bowl rolls around, I am just finding out who made the cut to play in the final game. I pay no attention to football. I don’t live in a family of football lovers so it’s just not a part of my world.

When it comes time for Super Bowl Sunday, I am ready to watch the halftime show, have some snacks, and hang out with friends. The game always bored me but I never even gave it a chance. I have never once fully paid attention to an entire football game.

Even as a cheerleader in high school, I only watched bits of the game. I knew enough about football to know what to cheer perform.

Until this past Sunday.

I have to admit a dirty secret, I am a little addicted to TikTok. I don’t make them but I find myself taking breaks from reading/writing/editing to go down the TikTok rabbit hole.

I find it fun to see what they are recommending to me based on what I watch. I have learned a lot about photography and found new places that I add to my travel bucket list thanks to this time-sucking app.

But, TikTok can rapidly change to another subject.
