The simple way we word things can make all the difference. I agree that if he would have said that it makes him uncomfortable, it would have been a very different conversation. You have healed and grown so much that you are able to look at these little jhatkas with clearer vision. My hope is that he just gets over it - not sure why it's even a big deal but to each their own!
