There's always one that ruins it for us!

…so our guide wouldn’t have to do it. The woman didn’t have a word of thanks or kindness for anyone. I was so embarrassed that she was from the United States, I tried to make sure our guide knew all Americans weren’t like that. I wondered how a country so beautiful could fail to enthrall anyone lucky enough to visit.
