Things like this hit us at unexpected times, I think. I don't know why I thought this but did she know you were meeting a friend? She sounds like one to want to sabotage a situation and make it all about her. I know that feeling. They never want to take responsibility or apologize for anything they did, because in their eyes they are never wrong.
