This actually makes me miss working with the seniors. It was gratifying when you found something that worked to soothe. When I did training at the Alzheimer's organization here, they showed us a few videos describing and reenacting what it feels like to be in the mind of someone the disease. It was scary. It can be so frustrating when things are going awry, but I would always remember those videos and feel terrible for how they were suffering, all while not know what the fuck is going on.
I am so glad they found that she was calm while being useful and having a "job". I wonder if she would like to take care of a baby doll. Many loved that.
Now you can rest easier knowing that she is in a better headspace and that there is a caring nurse there to help.
