This beautiful essay evoked so much emotion for me, Purbita. I bet it was very scary coming to a new country alone. I have never done that and it is admirable that you did. I love what you learned through the whole process and all of the beauty that you took in all over Northern California. I just watched the movie The Bridge about the suicides on the GG bridge. It is very sad. I can't believe that guy survived. I am glad he can share his story with others now though.
