When I worked at an Alzheimer's facility, UTI's were often the cause when one of the patients was more delirious and out of it than usual. They should always check that with routine blood work when someone is complaining of any pain, especially when they are older. So glad your mom is ok and that she gets as much coffee as she wants <3
