This! You are so accepting of your child but the world isn't and that is where the fear comes from, I think! My daughter is gay and as I folded all of her men's clothing yesterday, I thought of how she is looked at and the struggles that she will face. I love her no different but there is so much hate in this world that its hard to not think about those things!
