Ugh. I have tears. I honestly do not understand how people behave this way! To toss out your memories, just like that, takes someone so callous. We are supposed to be loved unconditionally and nurtured by our mothers, I think even when we are adults. At least, it would be nice. Instead you were punished for something so insignificant. She wanted control and didn't get it. You are such a wonderful person despite all of this. I do wonder though, how did you feel when she passed? You were both so young.
