We really have different views on this, and that's ok. :)

For me, I read this this thinking that money or fame doesn't matter when it comes to addiction. Even someone that makes millions of dollars and that everyone knows can't even get it right. He didn't love himself enough and what ultimately helped was him surrendering and helping someone else. It didn't piss me off and I loved the book. I like reading about addiction from all angles so it was interesting to me. Money and fame definitely doesn't buy happiness when you are pretty much dead inside.
