We should all be able to do what we want to without getting bashed for it, right? I took my husband's last name and didn't even think twice about it. Growing up, since my parents divorced, I never had the same last name as my mom and it was so annoying at school. I hated it. I didn't want to do that to my kids or make a long hyphenated name.
