We still had a lot of work to do here in the 90s.

In nineties Britain, any kind of therapy still had major stigmas attached and admitting you were less than okay meant admitting you were crazy. We laughed at American culture and its partiality to therapy, with it seeming to be as much of a staple in everyone’s lives as their morning bowl of cornflakes.
