What a great metaphor and I am adopting it now! My bathroom has a huge hole in the ceiling because of a pipe leak. Our house is old, too, and they said we probably have to re-pipe the whole thing.... $$$$! Stuff like this stresses me out and I swear that it all comes at once. Just before that our dishwasher broke, etc etc.

But, you are right! If we didn't have to deal with such things, we wouldn't be able to handle life!
