Today is graduation day for my firstborn daughter.

Little Miss Mia changed our lives at the beginning of May 2004. I don’t follow much astrology, besides reading the occasional fun horoscope, but the definition of a Taurus really fits the description of my Mia.

She came into this world full of life. She was strong-willed from the start. If she was uncomfortable, she cried. That went on for the first 4 months of her life.

Her zest for life, independence, beauty, and wit makes her so interesting and she is a person that you want to be around.

She is fierce.

All of her childhood moments are flashing before me as I get ready to watch her graduate today.

When she first began to walk, she always had to be holding a sock in her hand. Somehow she would always find a sock!

Mia would try any food, doesn’t matter what it was. As a baby and toddler, she ate any vegetable you put in front of her. She…
