… City. They had a Scandinavian daycare that would’ve been perfect, except for the price tag — about $24,000 per kid. So for us, with two kids at the time, it would’ve been a better financial choice to hire a nanny.

Whoa!! I had no idea. I'm not in a major city so I didn't run into a lot of nannies but damn, they make a good amount in NYC!
