Would You Want Your Birthday To Fall on a Holiday?

Today is my dad’s 69th birthday.

A Halloween baby.

What a fun day to have a birthday. He has always enjoyed it.

Although, you never have your own day when your birthday falls on a holiday.

Halloween, New Year’s Eve, and the 4th of July all sound like happy, party holiday birthdays but I can see how one wouldn’t want to share their day.

I wouldn’t mind sharing my day with those days but it is the other holidays that would be hard to share.

Sharing your birthday with Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Easter would definitely be tough from the get-go. Most likely, you won’t have a party on those days as a kid, and maybe not ever.

Although, with a Halloween birthday, we all know what kind of party you would have every year if you do something on your birthday.

I am sure your friends don’t always want to celebrate you on Halloween, either. But, my dad never complained and always saw it in a positive light.
