Wow, I went from tearing up, to pissed off, to tearing up again. A really good friend of mine has gone through 6 knee surgeries... started off with a doctor just like yours. How infuriating. But, you are strong AF! You are a fighter and I'm glad you kicked those guys to the curb. I love your honest and powerful writing :)
