Wow, Toni. I am trying to find the words through the tears. It's hard to fathom and understand WHY this still happens?!?! Why do people think this is OK?! Like WTF is wrong with people like the rat bastard? It infuriates me that kind, respectable people such as yourself have to go through things like this for no reason. There was no good reason for that to happen to you. You weren't doing anything wrong. It makes me think of an interview that I saw about a mom having to condition her black son about how to behave and what to do if a cop pulled him over and it just sent daggers to my heart.

I know I haven't known you here long but I think the world of you, especially now. I hate that this happens to you and many others.

I am glad that you released all of this to the page. It needs to be out there more obviously, because racism still happens on the daily. It's also embarrassing to me because I do not want to identify at ALL with people like the rat bastard.
