Yeah, she doesn't want to be an addict. No one wants that. This breaks my heart all over again for you. I bet it's so hard because you had those great years when she was sober! Although, at least you did have those times and so did her kids. Some people just never escape it. My mom is one of those people and she is alone with no one in her life now.
