Yes!! I've kept the few good friends I have and ditched the rest.

I’m closing in on 500 days now. Imagine a 1000 or 2000. In that time I could have learned two more languages, written a book, trained and completed many marathons. Whatever I want to achieve, I can. Because now I don’t have alcohol or my drunken friends holding me back.
Will I Lose Friends if I Quit Drinking?

Yes!! I've kept the few good friends I have and ditched the rest. I'd rather learn a language, travel the world or write a book instead of anymore stupid, drunken nights out! Great read!
