You are a beautiful writer, Chelsea! I bet it is hard to move and feel like an outsider. I have never moved out of the state where I am but I did recently move my daughter to MA. I thought Californian's had some road rage but was kinda scared at times driving on the east coast! I hope you continue to settle in and find your way there. It sure is beautiful there. I really enjoyed that part of it.
